Tom is a relationship marketing strategist with over 17 years’ experience in client acquisition, loyalty, relationship/life-cycle management, brand strategy, planning, performance analytics and contact strategy optimization. As the leader of RTC Relationship Marketing’s New York office, Tom brings deep consumer and business-to-business marketing experience to clients such as: Samsung, Vanguard and Abbott Laboratories.
Prior to joining RTCRM, Tom was vice president and marketing director with Digitas, where he worked in their New York, Chicago and Boston offices. Over an eight-year tenure, Tom earned his blue-chip direct marketing credentials: first, as a member of the AT&T win-back team, the test-and-learn “machine” dedicated to beating the control; then as the account lead on cross-channel acquisition and retention efforts for Best Buy. Most recently, Tom was the New York office’s senior relationship leader for financial services, directing the internal team while providing strategic counsel to clients such as American Express, most notably during the spin-off of American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise).
Tom also offers experience from the client side, having spent eight years working at BankBoston in account management, sales and marketing.

Mexican national Jose Ernesto Medellin, whose death penalty conviction in the rape and murder of two teen girls sparked international controversy, was put to death in Texas on Tuesday night, prison officials said. Corrections spokeswoman Michelle Lyons said Medellin died at 9:57 CT.
