At the Washington, D.C., ADDYs hosted at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, RTCRM won a D.C. ADDY Award for its “Alienware Laptop Giveaway – Online Initiative” for client Time Warner Cable. The agency also received a total of five Citations of Excellence for its AARP print and interactive work, Samsung “Destroy A Printer” micro-site, and Time Warner Cable TV campaigns.
The award show, hosted by the Metropolitan Washington Ad Club, was titled the “Battle of Awesomeness,” and was emceed by the Washington Improv Theater. The night kicked off with a Gallery of Finalists (including RTCRM entries), lots of schmoozing, a Sumo Smackdown booth (where guests wrestled each other while wearing inflatable sumo suits), and a much-appreciated s’more/fondue dessert bar.
